Environment refers to the natural surroundings and conditions in which we live. Unfortunately, this Environment has come under serious threat. Therefore, there is an urgent need to save the Environment. Our young Nation builders from DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, BANGALORE SOUTH-JUNIOR SCHOOL are learning about the planet “Earth”. As a part of this theme a “THINK GREEN CAMPAIGN” was presented by the students of class Ukg at Lakshman Rao park Jaynagar on 21st of December 2019. The program started with a walk where the children displayed different slogans on Save Earth, plant more trees, save energy, no pollution, save water and stop global warming. Then the children recited poems in English, Hindi and Kannada. They also interacted with the people present in the park by giving them saplings and badges. Along with the walkers Mr.C k Ramamurthy , Mrs.Nagarathna Ramamuthy ( corporator of Jaynagar) and Mrs. Sujatha (popular television personality) graced the occasion with their presence. The show stopper was the Earth song in which these young soldiers of environment gave solutions to these problems and passed on a very strong message “TOGETHER WE PROTECT” .
