Patriotic fervor marked the 72nd Independence Day at DPS Bangalore South. The proceedings commenced with the customary Flag hoisting ceremony. The Senior NCC Cadet commanded one and all present to salute the TIRANGA.. The National Anthem followed and so did the chanting ‘BHARAT MATA KI JAI’. The Principal Mrs. Manju Sharma also administered the pledge and emphasized upon the need to work towards nation building. The Cultural programme showcased the true meaning of patriotism by celebrating the diversity of our great country. The Inter house dance competition was a vibrant display of folk dances and were truly a spectacle for members of the audience. Dances and songs presented by the Primary wing accentuated the feeling of oneness… The programme concluded with the NCC Anthem ‘Hum Sab Bharatiya Hai’..
