The celebration started with a welcome speech followed by a brief introduction of the topic. The primary section students showcased their opinions on different environmental issues through various activities and thought-provoking speeches particularly on pollution of the environment. They presented a mime, street play and a rap song on ‘Air pollution’ which is the theme for World Environment Day 2019.
Apart from these, students were actively involved in making posters, models based on save energy, best out of waste; renewable energy etc.
The involvement and enthusiasm of students ensured a positive impact on the attitude of all participants about The Environment. The program ended with pledge taken by everyone to save environment by bringing a few simple changes in our attitude and daily habits.
