Primary & Middle School

Grades 3 – 8

The curriculum for grades 3, 4 and 5 is an amalgamation of knowledge, skills, and attitudes as highlighted in the NEP 2020. The curriculum is designed to facilitate age-appropriate knowledge, transversal skills like critical thinking, creativity, communication, student leadership, confidence, emotional and social wellbeing, etc. through efficacious strategies. An integrated approach weaving interdisciplinary projects creates a unique fabric of learning – one that intersperses cognitive and metacognitive elements and enables our children to strive for the extraordinary. Experiential learning, project-based learning, and developing a growth mindset are key areas of focus.

Formative and summative assessments will be conducted in the academic year that is divided into two terms. Project work and creative assignments are also part of the assessment process. Promotion will be granted on the basis of the entire year’s performance of the student as per CBSE specifications. The assessment pattern followed is a system of evaluation that takes a holistic approach to a student’s development. School timings for grades 3 to 8 are from 8 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.

Classes for grades 3 onwards are held in the Senior School Campus behind Metro Cash and Carry on Kanakapura Main Road.
