A Field Trip To “The Farm”

The little children of Nursery went to a field trip to “The Farm”. It was a way of enhancing classroom learning by making real world connections. They got an opportunity to get close to nature, they had fun visiting the chickens, roosters, goats, sheep, dogs, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoise. They fed grains to the hens, touched the textures of animal fur, saw the little tortoise peeping out of its shell, played games, saw how berries and vegetables grow and much more. It was a very exciting day for the children as they learned all about the Farm animals and had a super duper day out at the farm.
