The Finals in the under 17 and under 19 categories at the CBSE CLUSTER VIII FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT saw teams battling it out amidst excitement and true sportsmanship. In the first finals in the under 19 category, DPS Bangalore North emerged WINNERS and hosts DPS Bangalore South secured the RUNNERS UP position. The score was 2 – 1.
In the second finals in the under 17 category, DPS Bangalore East defeated PSBB and secured the WINNERS position. The score was 4 – 0. Congratulations to the coaches and teams!!
Shri. Ravi Kumar, who has played in the Indian team and has formerly played in the Karnataka State team and Maharashtra State team was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Esteemed member, Board of Management, DPS BANGALORE/ MYSORE, Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan graced the occasion and addressed the gathering. He spoke at length about the significance of sports in life. Mrs.Tasbia Khan, Director, School of India was present on the occasion. The CBSE flag was lowered as part of the closing ceremony and kept for safe custody.
