It rained awards for DPS Bangalore South at various sporting events held St. Gear Innovative School and this was the most spt manner to celebrate NATIONAL SPORTS DAY. DPS Bangalore South is known to encourage budding talent to scale great heights of excellence. Students won the first place in all 3 categories in the Basketball event.
Rahul Balakrishna came 1st in the Squash tournament held in the under 14 category. Arnav secured the 4th place in the same event.
In the Table tennis event, Riya and Siddhartha secured the 1st place in the under 16 category. Ruthu secured the 1st place in the under category 16 and Aditya and Arnav secured the 3rd place in the same event.
In the Badminton event, the boys doubles team won the first position. Girls emerged Runners up in the singles and doubles event in the under 14 category. Boys emerged Runners up in the under 14 category. In the under 16 category, girls won the doubles event. Boys emerged Runners up in the football event in the under 16 category.
