A vibrant cultural program marked Independence Day Celebrations @ DPS Bangalore South!! Musical renditions, mesmerizing dances, a thought provoking skit and an exceptional rap song written and performed by the students added to the patriotic fervour that was running high in the air today!! Students from the Primary and Senior blocks participated in the program. We were overjoyed to have the children of Sai Sneha Samasthe, a home for the needy join us in the celebrations. Ms. Sneha, the organizer of the home spoke on the occasion. The little ones sang songs and contributed to the cultural program. The program organized by the Department of Hindi concluded with the NCC anthem rendered by NCC cadets.
Children from Sai Sneha Samasthe, Raghuvanahalli, a home for the needy run by Ms. Sneha were invited to join the Independence day celebrations at school today… Ms. Sneha, a selfless true Indian who believes in giving more than we receive, spoke about her journey on building a safe haven for children who have been unfortunate not to have the presence of their parents, elders or siblings in their lives.
