ONAM CELEBRATIONS

Onam is a colourful harvest festival of Kerala and is dedicated to the Asura King Mahabali. He was the most just king ever. DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL BANGALORE SOUTH, JUNIOR SCHOOL celebrated “Onam”.
Together with the teachers, the children decorated a Pookalam (Floral rangoli) with fresh flower and petals.
They were dressed in traditional attire with many wearing Kerala kodi saris and Mundu.
The festival of peace, prosperity and happiness was celebrated with great joy and verve.
