The bonding between a brother and a sister is simply unique and is beyond description in words. The relationship between siblings is extraordinary and is given importance in every part of the world. Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a special occasion to celebrate this emotional bonding. The sister ties a holy thread around the wrist of her brothers. This thread with sisterly love is rightly called the Rakhi since it means” a bond of protection.”
Here at DPS Bangalore South- junior School, Rakshabandhan was celebrated with lots of love and happiness. The new age Raksha bandhan emphasises both sisters and brothers protecting , helping and loving each other for a better tomorrow.
