Shapes are Everywhere!!
We find shapes all around us, from diamond shaped stop signs, rectangular windows , triangular roofs to circular wheels. Learning about shapes helps children identify and organize visual information. It expands their imagination and creativity.
“Innovation with shapes” was celebrated enthusiastically in the Nursery classes at DPS BANGALORE SOUTH JUNIOR SCHOOL ,where the tiny tots were dressed up using different shapes to depict the chosen object or character.
Parents put in all efforts for our children to do wonderfully well . Kids came up with brilliant costumes using various shapes in combination with cloth, balloons , ping pong balls, Popsicle sticks , old newspaper, cardboard, foil paper, paper plates you name it! It was a reflection of creativity and family bonding.
