Unity In Diversity- Festivals Of India

India is well known all over the world as a multi cultured country with festivals. Each and every festival is celebrated uniquely in different ways. Some of the festivals are celebrated all around the nation whereas some are done at the regional level. Here at Delhi Public School, Bangalore South we believe that children are to be made aware of the diversity that exists in our beautiful country. By showcasing various festivals, it assists us in sowing seeds of citizenship and aids us towards facilitating a strong bond of unity in the tiniest of our dipsites. To strengthen these values, the tiny tots of Nursery, LKG nd UKG performed in a special assembly on “FESTIVALS OF INDIA”. The mesmerizing show started with a welcome speech followed by dances from various festivals. The young performers then sang VANDE MATARAM as a tribute to our dear motherland. The magnificent show concluded with a vote of thanks. The atmosphere was filled with festivities in the air. Hats off to our tiny tots who displayed a flawless performance.
