The concept of Air and water was demonstrated with simple – yet exciting ways to the children through `hands on experiments.
The teachers performed the candle experiment as the kids watched with gaping mouths. As the flame went off when the lit candle was covered with a glass, there was a collective gasp of surprise. Excitement and a sense of understanding of the concept prevailed in the class.
The dissolving experiment involved stirring sugar and salt in the water. The children tried it on their own and were thrilled to see and taste the sweet and salty water.
These experiments were enjoyed by the children and the concept was well understood.
