Shikha Rai, our champ studying in class 10 represented India at the World Roller Games in Barcelona, Spain. She is one of the youngest participants in the game in the 15-19 year old ‘Junior Speed’ age group. She completed the races with noteworthy 11th & 15thplacings among 3 overall Top 20 positions competing with hundreds of athletes from across the
world. The Federation acknowledged the fact that Shikha’s was the best performance ever at the World championships by an Indian junior athlete ever. She has been proving her prowess in the arena of Roller skating since a small age. She is undeniably India’s youngest best athlete and had even broken the existing record after having secured 6 gold medals in 6 events at the National Roller skating Championship organized by Roller Skating Federation of India.
